ABOUT ME
I need something that hasn't existed yet.
I don't want to repeat the forms that surround us, flooding from every side, paralyzing with predictability. I need something fresh – a new perspective,
a new kind of visual matter, with no need for explanation.
I allow myself to create something that feels close to me, even if it's not always obvious to the viewer.
I hide what’s internal – personal experiences, tensions, questions.
I do it in an indirect way, because I don’t want to hand anything over too clearly.
The forms that emerge are distorted, transformed, often ambiguous – frequently coming from the subconscious.
I’m not interested in realism.
I’m interested in thought processes
that can't be controlled or fully understood, but that can exist within a painting without the need to loudly proclaim populist truths.
